Re: This forum is crap! - How to sign out?

I have the same issue. The mobile site works without login (but just posts no comments can be seen), the desktop/full site demands a login after a few seconds and greys out all posts. Been like this for a week. I’ve Stopped reading the FB updates because of this. Must be FB server side then if nothi...

Re: Kickstarter update #25

I’m pretty positive about the timing. They’ve already delivered on the technically hard bit (getting the board to work, OS and firmware) just the logistics bit to go and no reason to doubt anything yet. I’ve had some fun with mine already. I figure another 3 months there’ll be a decent library of Ne...

Re: What's NEXT?

As irritating as it is it seems that a lot of the time the unofficial “official” channel of communication for all things Next is the Facebook group - as Timbucus linked to, the info is usually there if you can find it amongst all the noise.

I was never happy to learn that sid emu was included
Afaik the Sid was ditched a long time ago due to lack of fpga space. I’m pretty sure it was only ever a proof of concept to get it working and not planned for inclusion.

Re: And 0.8b finally arrives...

Starting with the next version, Multicore support has been added accessible via OUT commands which will require a different Firmware file this is as clear as mudd. Any details on the very loaded phrase `multicore support` ...this could mean 3/4 things. I assume this refers to am easy way to change ...

Re: the 65O2 and the zX core

I assumed it was a complaint that it won’t ship with other cores based on the 6502 cpu and the Sid is gone. It’s an fpga, I guess we can load whatever cores we like and being open source once completed, there’s likely to a few out there that people make wih a BBC or C64 core for fun. Probably (I’m n...

Re: Firmware Update

Based on what I’ve seen on the random Facebook timeline thingy, there should be a new distro out today I think? I remember reading something about Phoebus ran out of time to release it yesterday. So hard to follow anything on there :) With apologies from Phoebus, as he ran out of time last night to ...
