However this was before the sprite functions were moved to the fpga (notice the junk on the screen which is the sprite data - at that time the pi was sniffing memory writes to the display to gather sprite parameters). So following the excellent links above I got it working on my MAC (Following the PASMO route) http://futurice.com/blog/build-environment-like-its-1986 The way to find the correct line to add to your PATh is 1. What happens if a sprite is drawn off screen, does part of it appear on the screen (e.g. -4,-4) For the hardware sprites, is it possible to define the clipping window (e.g. So that it is easy to set up a portrait game window with scores etc on the other 3rd of the screen) with sprites nicely appeari...
