Re: Hardware sprites on the Next/ZEsarUX emulator

Almost everything you need to know is here: http://www.specnext.com/sprites/
Then look at the examples that come with ZEsarUX. Keep in mind some things may yet change.

It may be reverse engineered, but at least it's open source, that's a big difference.
I was under the impression that Unidos is a set of dot commands with documented entry points that sits on top of esxdos. Is that not right?

Re: Importing graphic/sprite data

For something like a screen, raw binary is fine. People should have tools to turn that into a tap file or you can supply that yourself. As a raw binary, people have the option of compressing it. For software sprites or similar image types, there is no standard. The format required will depend on the...

Re: Cross Platform SID Tracker

I would be interested in porting a SID player (especially from SID-Wizard), but I won't have time for it until later in the year, I'm afraid. Cross Platform SID Tracker

For those familiar with the SID, what are the most popular cross-platform SID trackers?
Is GoatTracker 2 a candidate?

Do we have anyone here familiar enough with the SID that they could help with a z80 player using song data from one of these trackers?
