New IRC Speccy/Next Channel on IRC

Postby Spec-chum » Tue May 30, 2017 12:15 pm

Good afternoon everyone.

Thought I'd let you all know that I created a new Spectrum/Next coding channel up on IRC a couple of weeks ago.

It's called #SpecDev and is on the EFnet Network. For a client I'd recommended the excellent IRCCloud ( http://irccloud.com/ ) as this is great for posting code snippets, links and images.

It was set up mainly so myself and my other Speccy Mad friend could discuss Z80 and Speccy coding in general, but we do have a couple more people now, mainly friends of ours, but I thought it'd be nice to get it out there so more people could come to join in and ask questions (we're both fluent in Z80 and fairly proficient coders in general having coded for over 30 years each) or just share links or knowledge.

Speccy, Coupé, Next questions/comments all welcome. Even C/C++ is fine, Spectrum related or not, it's not a busy channel so if we can help, we will.

Come join us, be a pleasure to meet you :)
I'm not insane; my mother had me tested

Hi matey,

I've just got home and have now found that I cannot connect to irc.efnet.org, neither from my phone or PC, :/
