I've just tried to download the latest version of UDGeedNext and my anit-virus software said it contained a threat and blocked the download. Has anyone had a similar issue?

I had this on the recent music editor that was posted. I submitted it to the Anti-Virus software firm for checking, and it's now been cleared after a couple of weeks as safe (For everyone). You can probably do the same.

Hi,

Great tool.

Is it possible this could be updated in the future to work with 9 bit palettes? I'm loading some bmps converted from the Atari st, a lot of the subtlety in the colour gradients is being lost when converting to 256 cols.

If you are simply splitting image files into sprites or tiles. I have a set of command line tools which include a command to do this. My tools support the full 9-bit palette. What my tools don't contain is a sprite or tilemap editor with the idea that you will edit them in another tools then use the command line tool to split them and export them in a format that the ZX Spectrum Next understands.
