Re: Hi, i am MDA.

The Mister core is quite good especially the video as it can do hdmi out using the Mister framework and that gives a timing accurate display generated from the Next's VGA. The Next itself can't do a timing accurate display on hdmi yet; the problem is much more difficult due to the smaller fpga. Tha...

Re: Hi, i am MDA.

Hi. I am Grigoriy Quiring. In my early days i welded about 30 clones of spectrum and wrote a game. "Gold fever". Some may know it. It is completely in russian, however. Now i ended up being a electronics engineer and fpga designer. Made few Z80 designs on fpga for fun, but nothing near to the Next....

Re: Raspberry Pi 400

The point is this is more than 4 times cheaper than the Next and you can have it today. Plus this has much more computing power (RPi4) and you can use it for other tasks just by changing the SD card. Not everyone has bought a Next ... Its's not Z80 powered, so for me, not interesting whatsoever. Wo...

Re: Simple Sprite editor (update to 0.4.1 10.11.17)

Here's some routines and a macro for sjasmplus I adapted/ripped from Simon Brattel's sprite demo code which I use to display sprites. Study the sprite documentation carefully on the ZX Next wiki! https://pastebin.com/t5u22QMc Don't forget DEVICE ZXSPECTRUMNEXT at the beginning of your asm file. If y...

Re: Bubble Bobble

Bubble Bobble for some strange reason has not yet been added to: https://www.spectrumnextgames.uk/

Everything else including the kitchen sink has!

Seems a shame not to promote it.

Re: Assembly programming manual.

Try Daryl Sloan's guides, really great for a very easy introduction to Z80. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRz86nhxZN0ObUSX1DvIO8q1D7rc4iw9t (his new pdf book) http://ped.7gods.org/z80.pdf "Usborne Introduction to Machine Code for beginners" is also a good intro. "Cracking the Code on the Si...
