Well it's very strange. 5800H is attribute zone, not pixel zone
Even more, you said "Every additional PIXELDN you do adds another $100, so $5900, $5A00, etc.". Well that could be the case for the first 8 scanlines beyond 191... but what happens with the 9th scanline beyond that?
