Just read up on it, yep it's Windows that limits the size of fat32 on creation, if another tool formats the sd card it happily accepts the size. Odd and quite annoying. Thanks for that, it was interesting reading and summit I never knew.

SDHC supports upto 32gb. But SDXC supports larger sizes upto 2tb. Would it be possible to format a SDXC card with multiple 32gb fat32 partitions to be read as different drives and be usable by the specnext? And yes I know spectrum files are generally tiny in size so 32gb is a huge amount of space, i...

updating NextPi?

I've ordered a Spectrum Next 2, accelerated (and I am soooo happy!!!) If the NextPi s/w gets updated is the only way to update the SD is to open the machine or is there a method to access the SD via some software method ?
