Re: Wanted: a good IDE for Next Basic dev in Windows

It seems to me that the focus on development tools should be on 1) Linux (so they can also me run on the Pi accelerator) and 2) Native on the ZX Spectrum Next. Of course anyone who is developing such tools is going to do it for the hardware that best suits them. If my IDE utilizes an emulator, I wo...

Wanted: a good IDE for Next Basic dev in Windows

Android Spectrum emulators and BT joysticks

Any Spectrum emulators for Android which are compatible with Bluetooth joysticks? If there are compatible joysticks for Android out there, which are they?

Digitized sound effects on Next - in Basic and Machine Code

I guess the sound chip support digitized sound effects? Are digitized sound effects loaded from the "disk" and put into memory when you start a program or is it "baked" into the compiled or machine coded file.

Try the updated BasinC: http://arda.kisafilm.org/blog/?page_id=848&lang=en
Thanks. Installed it as well.

Edit: BasinC seems to be better with more functions. I will use this one.

My knowledge of BASIC is rusty, since I haven't used it since the 80s. In the 90s it was Turbo Pascal and in the 2000s it was Javascript I was doing. I've downloaded and installed BASin, by Paul Dunn and bought all the books in the Step by Step Programming ZX Spectrum series(for the original ZX Spec...
