Indeed I have an Alphacom and Original Sinclair and the team are aware of that issue - a mod is needed to the printer decoding. Of course it will only work with 48K and 128k original ROM mode as well as Amstrad dropped support from +2a onwards.

Lovely work - just what is needed - file save is very simple using the ESXDOS API and not very hard using the NextZXOS one if you have used the Plus3 or the Amstrad DOS systems. Shout if you want any help...

You can use the Serial port on the Next as long as you do not want the ESP WiFi chip. The games have a copy of the minimum OS needed to boot (often older but, obviously good enough for that game) so you can just power on with them in and they go straight into the game. In the case of Adrian's games they all assume HDMI timing. For convenience (or if you want to use a different timing...

NextOS runs with a Spectrum ROM in place? Or at least very close based on the 128K rom set I believe.
