Design a small Sound card for Next

STORY "FM Sound" is to be implemented in "ZXSpectrumNext". However, it seems that FM Sound core was not developed. And the core development was completed on September 16, 2018 release. Append: 2019/4/13 1. I am requesting "sound expansion for the game BGM". I'm not an instrument store. 2. I thought ...

Re: Musical potential of the NEXT./Demonstration video existed on November20,2018 "First attempt to add FM sound to TBBl

2. TS-FM Problem: Last September I received a reply about the implementation of FM Sound. However, the announcement of "rejected for copyright reasons" is not found except this reply. The FM chips are too big to fit in the zx next architecture in current board's fpga - this is the reason they are n...

Re: Compatibility problem with TurboSound FM (register expansion of TurboSound Next interferes)

I would like to ask questions in other forums about adding " PSG Clock (=1.75MHz)" to the software operating conditions. (I did not know that zxart is a tslabs site) A reference site that is referred to for the "pitch" problem: "Spectrum Sound PSG (Programmable Sound Generator)"in "ZX Specification...

Re: Musical potential of the NEXT.

I started designing my own Sound card. Postscript 2019/3/31: I thought that the expansion port was driven at 14MHz, and because I chose a "74AC" class logic IC, six logic ICs were needed for "Negative logic OR combination". It decodes two low-cost OPN2 (YM2612/YM3438), OPNA and OPNB. A conflict is ...

Compatibility problem with TurboSound FM (register expansion of TurboSound Next interferes)

Append: 2019/4/13 1. I am requesting "sound expansion for the game BGM". I'm not an instrument store. 2. I thought that the specification of "ZXSpectrumNext 's extension port" could be connected to the original ZXSpectrum 3+ peripherals. However, I found a conversation in FB that "the expansion mod...

Re: Musical potential of the NEXT.

1. The material about ZXNDMA on this site was updated on February 25 this year, and the reasons for not being able to add interrupts etc. have been added, but there is no demonstration yet. No one has developed a "MML-based music driver" to be able to use the modulated sound by AY's hardware envelop...

"PiTubeDirect" Pi co-processor system for BBCmicro (at FB)

Migrated from another thread. Had no trouble reading the specnext group https://www.specnext.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1352 (On February 23rd weekend, when trying to display a publicgroup on FaceBook...) Since it seems that the article of "co-processor" to which David Ball was posted on Februar...

Re: Had no trouble reading the specnext group / out of the title of this thread

On March 13, there was a report that there was a global connection failure at FB. However, the "public group" was viewed normally. P.S. Since I did not explain "Tube" of "BBC Micro" (I was mistaken for BBCMicro as a Spectrum compatible machine while fighting with Google translation), I corrected the...

Re: Had no trouble reading the specnext group

on Facebook even though I am not on Facebook. These days it has become impossible. It switches between the Facebook page and the "Not Logged In. Please log in to continue" window all the time, very fast. I've tested it on several browsers and even on other computers with different IP numbers. Same ...
