Emulation of the NEXT

Hi folks, I'd like to know what is the closest way to emulate the NEXT at the moment with latest features? CSPECT or ZEsarUX? Also are there any concise directions how to do this? Considering the interest in the machine, and considering there must be a BUNCH of people waiting for the cased NEXTs to ...

MMC file for ZesarUX

Anyone know of a way to create an MMC file from the download of the SD card contents to use the latest OS with the emulator ZesaurUX?

Thanks in advance,

Nico

Sprite Most Significant Bit

Currently I have a sprite routine that checks for X position and if > 256 it manually updates a variable to then update the most significant bit of the sprite. The documentation for sprite alludes to there being a kind of automatic update of this MSB. Is that true? Or must it be done manually, as I ...

Re: Help with sprites (asm, zesarux)

Since the sprite registor is written sequentially do we have to write every sprites position, visibility every time? I.e. if I have 4 sprites and I want to only update number 3, the only way I see to do this is to re-write the information for sprite 1 and 2 first before getting to 3. Am I correct in...

Anybody have an example of more displaying more than one sprite in assembler? A source code example would be awesome!
