Re: First steps into Z88DK...and many more to come!

I had z88dk on another drive that wasn't C:\ but that alone shouldn't have failed, but the path was long winded so in the end I just relocated it the C drive and simply C:\z88dk... For some reason it now works from command prompt(yay!), although still no dice in CodeBlocks, but I think thats now jus...

Re: First steps into Z88DK...and many more to come!

Okay, I think I'm closing in on the problem with Code::Blocks... I have Mingw set up on the Windows 10 computer and I can run the command gcc from any directory location. But for zcc, I must be in the Z88DK\bin folder to run it. Anywhere else and it dont work... Its now gnawing away at me that I hav...

Mucking around with the libctest.c example for the Master system to get a better idea of what-does-what... /********************************************************* * * "main.c" by S.A Ray (SamusDrake). Re: First steps into Z88DK...and many more to come!

Having spent more time with Codeblocks, I think the problem maybe the Make program I'm providing. I've noticed when setting up SGDK you use the Make program provided with that SDK, but as I couldnt locate one for Z88DK, I tried others - MingGW being one of them. Also in the project settings I've pro...

Re: First steps into Z88DK...and many more to come!

In other news! My work on SGDK(Megadrive sdk) isnt going too bad but I'm having palette nightmares. Dealing in 16 color bitmaps is a headache, and I find my trusty copy of Tricks of the windows programming Gurus seeing action once again... I registered with Sprites Mind but sadly they havent replied...

Re: First steps into Z88DK...and many more to come!

Okay, I spent yesterday with Codeblocks trying to figure out where I have gone wrong, and came up with the following possibilities... 1) I havent installed Z88DK correctly on Windows 10(works a charm in Linux though). 2) I've incorrectly setup the environment variables. 3) I've incorrectly setup the...

Re: First steps into Z88DK...and many more to come!

In other news I've been trying to set up Z88dk to work with CodeBlocks on my Windows 10 machine. My recent attempt has produced the following issue... -------------- Build: default in zeedk (compiler: Z88DK Compiler)--------------- zcc.exe -Wall -O2 zcc +zx -vn -clib=sdcc_iy -startup=31 main.c -o ma...

Re: A severe case of ZX dillusionitis!!!

Yes, the curves at the sides and the dip from the top part of the casing really gives the Spectrum its iconic form. That part at least is nice.
