Latest Core v.1.10.51 Supports SEGA Megadrive Joypads. It has been exhibited in large quantities at eBay, Aliexpress, etc. It is set at a cheap price. No is the simple answer , the more complex answer is the game would have to be taken to bits , the drawing code removed and replaced with 8 bit drawing functions , the old 1 bit graphics removed and replaced with 8 bit graphics , the game then needs to be rebuilt ( things have moved about ) and / or...

The number of backers does not mean that's the number of units ordered. I myself am down as a Next Accelerated but also got Just the Board. I have a funny feeling that over 400 boards were made and sent out.

Surely the Genesis controller is not compatible . Atari has its 5v on pin 7 whilst the Genesis is Pin 5 ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_joystick_port

I was not speculating on the daughterboard but on whether of not the sdcard reader and buttons exist on the motherboard

What has been said in the past is that until the Kickstarter backers orders have been fulfilled they are not looking into future sales. The accelerated board has a daughterboard attached ( not this is all speculation until people see one ) which unless soldered on should be easy to unplug but may/ma...

Using Eratosthenes' image , the negative is the middle pin. ( negative is the stripe down the side with a negative symbol and the short leg)
