Re: Way overpriced

am surprised the next iis being run through the medium of a ltd company. its very 1980s but is rather bizarre imo. unless its intended to be sold at some point in the fuutuure. this would have made far more sense in modern britain: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_interest_company From the w...

Re: Spectrum Next... Did you miss the Kickstarter? Would you still want a Next?

I see the shop has gone live. It states that there is a 20% margin but this is not true for people who have Vat added on top . The Accelerated KS price was £230 +£10 postage ( England ) = £245. Now on the shop its £275 + £15 postage + £55 Vat = £345 . Glad I backed the KS.

Many Speccy fans would not be best pleased that the natural successor to the original 'peoples computer' produced for the masses was some specialist customised job only available to an affluent few for brief period of time. When the Spectrum first came out it was via mail order , you paid your mone...

Can sprites be clipped by using a raster interrupt to turn sprites on and off . An example is I may want to use sprites i...

Re: Pi zero.... upgradeable ?

The gpio is compatible with pi2 onwards. The Pi zero w just adds. Wireless and Bluetooth so no modification is needed. Off the top of my head the memory address for the mailbox etc changes between say pi 2 and pi 3/zero. I think the bootprogram can detect which revision it's on and change its base a...
