Re: Update 41 and "2.00.X."

It's anticipated that people will develop their own cores and make them available (or not) and put them into one of the available 30 slots in the flash. I've never heard about this before. What slots are this? Are they held on the FPGA (because I thought that was nearly full by now)? The way I unde...

Re: Think BIG and go RETAIL

Wasn't "zx spectrum vega" the "speccy mini"? And that came out pretty much before the nintendo ones.. I have the impression that didn't fare too well.

But I'm pretty sure they won't have anything against going retail if you're offering to bankroll them.

should_draw_pixel(x,y) = ((x1 < x2) ^ ((x1 <= x) ^ (x <= x2))) && ((y1 < y2) ^ ((y1 <= y) ^ (y <= y2))) (^ is XOR, && is AND)
6 adders, 6 logic ops. No idea how tight the fpga is at the moment, though..

...or get it and then flip it on ebay for $1000. Selling at cost when you know they will be sought after doesn't make a lot of sense.
Not everyone wants to go through the hassle, especially if it requires international shipping.

Re: Update 39

I'm starting to get a sneaking suspicion that it's not shipping this summer.. =) Glad to see it's coming together. And the positive side for the hardware delays is that it has given more time for the firmware/software side to progress, so the initial experience for people who get their hands on thei...

You can also use ZX7.
I didn't know ZX7 is compatible with the MegaLZ decompressor that apparently comes built in ZX Basic.

Or if you were just throwing different compressor ideas out there, there are a bunch. (Yes, I'd use zx7 too, but it's not the only game in town..)

There's the (optional) wifi module someone is bound to use for file transfer eventually..
