If the cores could use the Pi0 then maybe Amiga, Atari ST, Sharp X68000 and of course the acorn archimedes

I'd like to see a core designed as a completely new machine. One which thinks outside the paradigm of CPU/GPU. To use the FPGA more intuitively and see what it's really capable of as a home computer.
Yes indeed - I have seen a few interesting projects based on multiple parallel small CPU's with a message passing bus, that sounds like an interesting project on the FPGA.
I'm Infinite Imaginations when not in work... PAWS for thought.

Would like to add a +1 to the C16/+4 suggestion. Amiga if it is possible. Signetics 2650 based machines (what I know as the Acetronic MPU 1000 and derivatives). Of course all the popular 8-bit micros too :)

Would it be possible to implement the ZX-Evolution? ( http://nedopc.com/zxevo/zxevo_eng.php ). Being a fantastic russian spectrum-based clone, it could be a great addition!.
Looking at the specs some parts are shared already.
