Version 0.2 of the Arcade Game Designer compiler:
AGD 0.2.zip
(170.55 KiB) Downloaded 101 times
New this time are a few bug fixes, ULANext support and a simple demonstration game, Dodgy Geezer. Thanks to David Saphier there's also an executable which runs on newer machines, something lacking in the previous release...

Have fun!

Hi,
I've used for compiling ASM source the Pasmo Z80 cross-assembler but give me an errors.
The version is Pasmo v.0.5.4.beta2

Code: Select all

pasmo -v --tapbas test.asm test.tap
Any hints?

Interesting, will have to take a look at that. I've tested it with a few assemblers but admittedly am not familiar with Pasmo. What sort of errors is it generating?

Multi-Platform Arcade Game Designer

Just to let folks know, although I left the somewhat toxic Spectrum scene last year I am still working on Multi-Platform Arcade Game Designer. The latest version is 0.7.3 although there'll be another update soon with fixes for the Timex, CPC and Next engines. Next sprites are still on my to-do list but for now you can still use the 8x1 graphics mode.

The latest 32 and 64 bit versions will always be available here: https://jonathan-cauldwell.itch.io/mult ... e-designer

In addition, there are tutorial videos on how to use MPAGD:
