Well, it does miss my birthday, but nice to see everything coming together.

You would think with all the people bleating about "will it ever turn up" there would be few more "good glad it's almost done" posts here

Maybe I have it wrong being happy it's progressing so well, Maybe it's more fun just to moan and groan

I was never worried about it - I always had faith in this project.
Yeah, sure - it's taken a bit longer than most people hoped for ... but it'll be here soon and all the doomsayers can eat crow

Well, naturally when people invest their money in a venture they do eventually expect to see results. The longer it drags on the more doubt that will sink in...

But being specific to this project, I think they have handled it pretty well. Its just unfortunate that the Vega Plus situation has cast a shadow on crowd funded projects that attempt to revive classic computers. Could we blame "investors" for being on their guard?

The good thing about this project is that the motherboard edition has already been sent to their respective backers, so a keyboard version was only a matter of time...

The testing membranes are now in production and will be ready on July 17th for final approval, the last hurdle between the project and the backers.
Sooo.. how did it go?
