I'm Michael Gibs. My first computer was a Sinclair ZX81 and I moved quickly on the ZX Spectrum in 1983.
In 2010, I was the second guy in the world having integrated an ARM board (Beagleboard) in a ZX Spectrum case. It has been critisized a lot but then later, dudes were doing the same thing with a Raspberry pi and it was applaused... lol
Obviously, how could I resist when I saw the kickstarter of the Next...
I don't regret it.

Ha, that's the way it goes. Now you've got things like theC64, mini-nes, mini-snes, etc, which are all emulators inside a reproduction case and those are well received. Maybe if you'd had the time to make the software look less like linux and more like a pure spectrum....
