Hi all

Just backed the standard next. Hope to upgrade it bit at a time, gives a project feel to it and gives you something more to look forward to.

Can't wait for my next.

Graphics was my thing back in the day, so looking forward to art tools in the new modes.

Also interested in music tools, and despite what a lot of people think, I'm stoked for the idea of a SID chip in the speccy.

Don't worry about the SID chip, I'm looking forward to hacking a Konami SCC into there too! Welcome aboard!

Just looking forward to mucking about like I used to years ago.

I'm even buying a cassette recorder and cassettes so I can show the kids how it used to be.

Hi, Lini!
You've made a nice decision to upgrade one bit at a time! It makes Next something like a DIY computer, which you upgrade gradually!
I'm not that patient, just threw money to get the maxed out version :)

I couldn't afford it all in one go unfortunately.

But I already have a pi zero and hope the wifi and extra ram will be easily available.

Can't wait to see what the pi can do on this already amazing machine.
