Greetings from Cumbria

Postby kathrync » Sun Dec 10, 2017 12:43 pm

First time poster, long time lurker here from the frozen wilds of the north.

Looking forward to getting my accelerated Next in Jan. I'm assuming that everything will be ready to go out of the box as I can't do all of that technical stuff you guys have been doing as board only backers! If not I know where to come for advice so apologies in advance if I start spamming the forum in Jan.... :lol:

Moin, moin! (== Hi there!)

It seems as if nobody welcomes "Newbies" anymore... :( *sorry* for that...

Maybe many of us are to "stressed" waiting for the Next to become reality... :D

Nice 2 meet you and have a lot of fun. - Hopefully we will get the ZX Spectrum Next early next year.

I'm waiting for "Just The Board" offshore in continental Europe at the moment. Being one of the early Sinclair users to me the Next is one of the best things that will happen for several years as I'm still (after more than 35 years) a computer nerd... :D

I think many who have the board have found something else to do - but, indeed Welcome sorry we have been absent.

G’day! They say it should be plug ‘n play! That’s why I went for it :-)

Also grabbed me a PCB only that really is a proper bit of nerdy tech fun.

If the enthusiasm of everyone in the Facebook group is anything to go by, and the speed of which the next teams are helping and fixing ....absolutely everything’ ‘buggy’ will be ironed out well in time for shipping . I’m darned impressed so far
Backer 331 - The full monty and a PCB

Thanks for the welcome! I simply cannot wait for my Next to arrive next year, and hopefully as you say it'll be ready to go out of the box from day one :)
