Good sprite editor for Windows/Linux

Postby TheSwedishLord » Sun Aug 23, 2020 9:22 pm

Tried to download some of the sprite editors here but my security system say it's fraudulent links etc ;)

So is there a Windows or Linux sprite editor that I can use to create spriites for ZX Spectrum Next, would BashMonkey's Spriter Pro work? If so how do I convert the work after I have created the sprites?

Someone must know a good sprite/tile editor right?
Tried a few now and even the built in one but the built in doesn't work on emulator, can't save files...

The next comes bundled with a basic sprite editor (next basic .spredit spritesheetname.spr)

As for windows based sprite editors you could try emooks UDGEED (see software for latest release)
Pro Motion is an excellent paid program (£30 for fuill liecense) - also does tile maps.
