For the Sinclair C5 fans

Post by Flinnster » Mon Sep 11, 2017 3:33 pm

Recently a haul of no less than four working Sinclair C5's appeared on sale on Facebook, at £800 each.
Just in case people hadn't seen the photos, I'll post them here, for general Sinclair fanboy/girl geekiness and all round jawdrop moments

Is it still possible to purchase one?

Just seen this post... I have 4 of those lovely beauties in my shed too. All work but do need some TLC.

I grew up in the town these beauties were assembled. A mates dad worked on the production line and we used to go in to ride them, they were so ahead of their time and unfortunately a little misguided in their purpose. If they were marketed today to the leisure industry as a fun vehicle they would be huge!

Last time I was on one was at my school fete in 1985. The batteries had run out, so it was a case of pedalling everywhere.
(And yep, those photos from an age ago were not mine, so I can't say if they are still for sale or not!)
