New Game: Pooper Scooper

Postby Sludge » Sat Sep 22, 2018 10:25 am

Avoid the baddies, clean up the crap, different characters have different abilities that need to be employed to complete the levels.

Keys QAOP and space, H to hold, M for music on/off.

Music by Yerzmyey.

Funny little game ... once you figure out what to do :)
However, it's not a Next game, which is what this section is (primarily?) for.

@Sokurah

Interesting point.

Must it use the new features (hardware sprites, SID sound etc.) not available on a standard Spectrum to be classed as a 'Next' game?

This game plays differently on a Next compared to a standard Speccy.

I hope not, considering that the next doesn't have SID sound ;)

I think so. Personally I wouldn't "advertise" a vanilla Spectrum game here. And I don't really think it would be necessary as most people here are probably members of the other places that focus on the regular Spectrum. But it's up to the admins, really.

I think it's ok to advertise regular spectrum games here but maybe under the "ZX Spectrum" topic instead of "Software" where some may expect programs that are zx next specific.

You could quieten things down by making a ulanext version in addition to ulaplus. Then it would belong here for sure :)
