Did you miss the Kickstarter? Would you still want a Next? Now you can!

Postby MikeCad » Tue Jun 06, 2017 7:40 pm

Hi all,

I didn't want to do anything fancy here in terms of a forum poll, just a regular forum post for people to reply to.

A lot of people have expressed interest in the Next since the Kickstarter ended in May. Ideally it would be useful to see the interest in terms of numbers. Who would be interested in purchasing a Next or a board (or both). This isn't designed to be a scientific study but just a rough gauge. Tens, hundreds, thousands? We don't really know at this point.

If you could reply with just a single post per person describing what you would want, no comments or discussions (if you can help yourselves) :)

Cheers!

I planned to buy another SpecNext as gift for my best friend /all time Atari fan/. No joke.

As you know I'm in for one and willing to pay slightly more if it will arrive within a month instead of the current 8 month timescale.

Highly interested in buying one. But can't estimate if I will have spare money to do so.

I'd take one if I have money and a TV to plug it into by the time it comes out. Otherwise I'm pretty content with just running an emulator.
Working on:
Retronator, a blog and online magazine dedicated to pixel art.
Pixel Art Academy, a text/point-and-click adventure for learning how to draw.

Well I deliberately ordered two accelerated as I was lucky enough to be able to do so. I have no intention of keeping the second one so there will be at least 1 available untouched accelerated for resale. I'm sure there are a few others in the same position.

Cheers

Just to remind, this thread relates to post KS sales of the Next (not private sales or otherwise), but through official channels. So far things seem quiet but I imagine these are busy times for people.
